Ideal for ceramic tile floors and heavy furniture

Felt pads are perfect for my sister's very heavy electric chair. It has metal legs and moves around a lot, leaving black streaks on the hard ceramic tile floor. These felt pads were just what I needed. They are quite thick, hold up well, and are the same diameter as the metal legs of a flat-bottomed chair. Now the chair moves more easily and there are no more black streaks on the tiled floor. I think they've been on the chair for about a month (I put them on the day they arrived, can't remember

Don't believe negative reviews.

I was surprised to see all the bad reviews on this product from missing parts, too small size and no clutch. SCOTCH is a household name for a reason, which is why I bought them to replace the cushions on my dining room chairs. Very happy with the size (they are 1 inch and round) and when placed correctly they held up well. FYI - put them on the legs of a chair and then sit on them and surf Facebook for a few minutes - don't move the chair during that time. I also recommend having a drink on…

Clean the chair legs first

These soft cushions are for the undersides of dining chairs, kitchen chairs and even bar stools. First I removed the old ones, they were really broken. I then took the piece of sandpaper I had and some of the slime and scrubbed the underside of each chair leg. I then curled them up a bit so the new chair cushion will hold up and we'll see how easy it was to replace the old ones. Well if this is your first time using them I would do it the same way I did just so they stick really well. Remember…

Cushions do not stay in place well

These cushions are used on the underside of wooden chairs in a breakfast room on a wooden floor. They are easy to put on but need to be re-attached about every two weeks as the adhesive is too weak to hold them on the legs. In addition to the frequent moving down, there is also the problem of the glue on the floor (the work by Goo Gone is a great product, by the way). This is a very annoying constant maintenance problem. Scotch is a good brand but these little devils have never failed to…

Works well if you know what to expect.

. The truth is they should be selling something like this with an actual bottle of glue - something more substantial that fills porous gaps and imperfections - but they don't. I received them with full expectation of attaching them to the underside of the chairs with something more substantial. No tape in the world will fit, and when you buy something like this, it's essentially what it is - double-sided tape on the underside of the felt. The glue itself would probably be very good if each leg…
