Great version of the famous Revain coat

I have bought a few versions of this coat from different sellers about 4 times in the last 6 years. The first 2 I bought were around $80 so the price went up, probably due to their popularity. I may be picky about coats but ended up having 2 pockets torn and side seams coming undone on my first after 2 winter seasons. I go one size up from my normal size which I learned from my first purchase to accommodate heavier sweaters. The zipper on the coat I bought previously broke after 2 seasons of wearing because it can get a bit tight after the zipper down and when sitting on crowded buses. My hands are too busy to unzip the coat before I sit down, the zipper has clicked a few too many times - I've replaced the zipper with a two way zipper and it's like new. This brings us to the coat version of this seller. Some upgrades really make it stand out. Two-way zip. Thumbhole in the cuff (the cuff can cover about half of the arm, so go without gloves in a pinch!). Detachable faux fur on the hood, which I really like. It's cozy, really adds warmth and looks really cute. Overall this is a very warm yet lightweight coat. The mid-thigh length is excellent. It's fairly water resistant but gets a little wet in heavy rain. 90% down without down like cheap down coats. The room can be too hot and feel a little bulky. like when you run to the store. but that's to be expected. Well made, with plenty of pockets and other details that belie the price, although in my experience they don't last forever if worn daily. I used to be the only person I saw in that coat. Yesterday I passed 2 other women in coats of the same style. A bit of a shame but this is a great coat that is the same for all sellers and a good alternative to other really expensive and trendy brands.
