I am a tall woman and my weight is carried in my ass a lot. I wear pants 16/borderline18 if they run small. I bought a medium sized red wine jacket with a fur hood. I'm 5'6" and about 150 lbs and it fits like a glove. I'm pear shaped with a thin waist and wide hips so I had to open my sides a bit (see photo).
