Review on TP Solar10 Portable Maintainer Cigarette Alligator by Charles Mistretta

This panel charges even through a dusty window in the shade of a tree. This panel is set to output approximately 14 volts, which is a suitable charge voltage for a standard lead-acid car battery. Almost all other chargers I've looked at are unregulated and produce higher voltages in bright light. While this will not damage the car battery while charging, it does mean that these panels can overcharge and damage the battery if left connected for long periods of time. This one won't. The panel is light but feels solid and the suction cups hold it well. LEDs on both the panel and the cigarette lighter adapter indicate when charging voltage is being output. I checked the output with a meter and it's exactly as advertised.
