station and all components look good and professional. The suction pump works great. I removed all the Apple //e Platinum keyboard switches and it only took 1 or 2 minutes to unsolder the terminals. A soldering iron and SMD hot air work great too. My complaint is that the suction pump for desoldering and the soldering iron use the same connector. You use either an iron or a pump. And the pump takes a few minutes to get ready. I don't know why the nut temp reaches setpoint so quickly, but you have to wait 2-3 minutes for the pump to work. So if you want to use the pump and the iron at the same time, you're out of luck. It would be better if I could replace the pump with a heat gun. Because you are unlikely to make SMD and through hole at the same time. The pencil pump seems to work, but I could get better results with a hand pump. Not sure why the suction pump works well but the pencil doesn't? Other than that I like it, could be a top notch device if this issue is fixed.
