You definitely need either a stand with a good rubber band on the base, or a pantograph. Has pros: Really good quality microphone. I bought it instead of the condenser "streamer" and received: - no echo in my unprepared room - radio voice - less window noise - the ability to plug in both USB and buy a separate audio interface later and connect via an XLR cable With its cons. - You can't reach the headphone output volume knob to the touch: it is between all the plugs, see photo. - All touches to the microphone are transmitted, that is, during recording, the volume cannot be changed, you cannot touch it. Pressing the on-off button is also perfectly transferred to the recording. - It seems to be quiet even for a dynamic one. You have to keep it 7-10 cm from your mouth, which is not always convenient. - Regular tripod must be thrown away immediately (removing the microphone mount itself from it, it will come in handy) - The light is on both when the microphone is turned on and when it is turned off. Orientate to the position of the switch.
