It does what it needs to do

Its a traditional dynamic microphone (which is a very old style of microphone design, which is robust and relatively inexpensive to make well. They use the same dynamic proces as a speaker, only in the inverse so require sound to make sound and are based on a moving coil like in a speaker. This results in the facts that dynamic microphones have virtually no sound floor making this microphone more suited for low level recording for ASMR and ambient noise when it is attached to a suitable…

Good value for money, I recommend.

You definitely need either a stand with a good rubber band on the base, or a pantograph. Has pros: Really good quality microphone. I bought it instead of the condenser "streamer" and received: - no echo in my unprepared room - radio voice - less window noise - the ability to plug in both USB and buy a separate audio interface later and connect via an XLR cable With its cons. - You can't reach the headphone output volume knob to the touch: it is between all the plugs, see photo. - All touches to

Sounds great with low self-noise!

Very clear sound and low self-noise. I use this mic in my podcasts and some tutorials. It works great and blocks out background noise really well. It's not heavy so I can place it on any mic stand or boom in my office. The headphone jack comes in handy when you want to control audio directly from the microphone. It comes with a USB-C cable, which is required to connect to a computer.

Budget quality

The microphone itself is excellent. High quality sound and 3 different connection cables. On the downside, the mic stand is terrible, but if you're looking for a quality mic on a budget then this is for you. The microphone stand and shock absorber shown in the photos I uploaded do not come with the microphone. I bought them separately because (as mentioned) the mic stand that comes with the mic is terrible.

Does not support USB-C to USB-C cables

I bought this microphone to use with my PC, phone and iPad. But it doesn't work with 2/3 of them because it only works with "dumb" USB-C cables. This microphone is not USB-C compatible and will not work with some cables. Until this is confirmed to be fixed I cannot recommend this mic, especially as most buyers will likely buy this USB-C mic specifically for USB-C capabilities.

  • Great for outdoor activities

NOT DYNAMIC best dynamic mic

Admittedly, in the short time I've hooked this mic up I found it sounded like a pretty good condenser mic. The problem is that this is a condenser mic, not a dynamic one. Although it is stated further down the page, the name refers to a dynamic microphone. As much as I hate giving bad reviews on a good mic, at the end of the day this is still a product I haven't tried. wants to be misled by a purchase on my own product page.

Great mic - the included accessories are terrible

The mic itself is great. I use it for video conferencing at work and people notice the quality improvement. As mentioned in other reviews, the included mic holder clip and stand are two separate pieces of cheap plastic. In my case, I couldn't twist them together at all. Something about the molded plastic filaments just doesn't match up and when I try to force the issue they get stuck. If you buy this microphone, you will need a different stand and microphone mount. The included USB-C cables are

Nice recordings, weak additional components

The microphone itself seems to have pretty good sound quality (although I'm admittedly a SUPER amateur), but the plastic part of the desktop tripod which has a threaded socket made of flimsy plastic and broke the FIRST time I used it (started struggling to unscrew the stand from the mic shell and it just broke after a few twists). Perhaps this is a one-off, strange anomaly. , but now I'm without the ability to support the microphone. Update: I have since returned the mic (the seller returned my

great for Zoom for microphones and accessories

Based on the strong positive reviews, I bought this microphone to use when attending singing groups and meetings via Zoom. I was attracted by the fact that the product is optimized for use in podcast recording. I am very happy with this microphone. I like technology that is easy to use. This microphone plugs directly into my computer via a USB port. It has a standard jack that fits my Apple headphones and the headphones I use to listen to music. The only control on the microphone is the…

Worst set of accessories I've seen this year

I'm an unabashed Audio-Technica fan who owns at least four sets of AT headphones (M, R and AD series) and two AT microphones. Even I have to admit that the included desktop stand for this mic is the worst accessory I've seen in 2020. It is made of thin plastic that can hardly bear the weight of the microphone. It bends and deforms right out of the box. If you get this mic, do yourself a favor and ditch the stand. It's really that bad. I know you're not buying this mic for a stand, but buying…

Sounds great, but I had some problems - Updated and fixed by

update 8-14. I mentioned earlier that there is a small piece of wire sticking out of my microphone shield. This caused some funny grounding problems. Finally, I took the mic apart (voted for the warranty!) and found it wasn't connected to anything, so I cut it off. This solved the problem, but not completely. When I touch the body of the microphone, the buzz comes back. What I found was that my computer case grounding worked better. So I was able to solve this problem myself. The quality issue…

Everything about the purchase suits me, a very necessary product.

Accessories should be provided right away: the suspension is especially important (without it, the rustling of hands, the creak of the table, etc. is transmitted through the case to the membrane), a foam nozzle or a “dead cat” (it is quite tiring to control exhalation, and it is impossible to fix it in the recording), headphones ( monitor the recording online conveniently). It is advisable to line the room with carpets and cover with pillows, the echo in the recording does not sound natural.

Pros
  • Digitization directly in the microphone is convenient. There are a couple of cables that are long enough to connect to a smartphone (USB-C) or a computer. Sensitivity drops noticeably with distance from the membrane, which is more convenient for domestic conditions than condenser microphones. It's good that there is a headphone output online with volume control.
Cons
  • There are noises that cannot be overcome.
