I have over half a dozen different salt/pepper grinders and this product is good but has a few drawbacks. Thankfully, you don't have to press a button to get salt/pepper out, which is a nice feature, especially if you have arthritis in your hands or are cooking. However, if the grinder tips over on its side, it will happily continue grinding salt/pepper until the battery runs out (confirmed in the instructions). Each grinder has a large salt/pepper container so you don't have to refill your salt and pepper containers too often. Refilling the grinder is very easy as you just have to unscrew each container from the base to fill it. Thanks to the transparent bottom you can easily see what is inside each grinder. The weight of each coffee grinder is reasonable and not bulky. One downside is that the grinder is on top and will pick up salt/pepper with normal use. So when you tilt the grinder, a random amount of salt/pepper lands on your food from the top of the grinder before the grinder motor has even started. This makes it difficult to control the initial amount of salt/pepper you put on a plate of food. When seasoning a pot/pan, the one-hand operation is very convenient and the excess salt/pepper you get is no problem. The light on the coffee grinder works as shown but could be brighter.
