Review on Ceiling Fan Remote Control with Reverse Function by Ceiling Fan Remote Controls by Heidi Massine

I didn't realize the fan I had when I bought the house needed a remote control so I didn't use it for years as it only had the Air drew on and at a slow pace. I even tried taking it off and fiddling with the wiring at one point before announcing it would work. Instead of wasting money on a legitimate remote for this thing, I gave this a try. It did what I needed, but it's not a very good remote and I won't use it often to change speeds or reverse. It just seems to want to run for a while and you have to bring the remote right up to the base of the fan for it to do anything. I'm always afraid that if I change the flow, I won't be able to get it right again. about 1/20th the cost of the device. At least I have a working fan now. If you're just looking for something that will spin your fan in the right direction and then never touch it again, this isn't a bad buy. I wouldn't expect it to work like your original remote.
