Good looking. Width requires special equipment.

I bake bread myself, but I find it difficult to cut the loaves of bread into pieces of the same width. This block allows me to do that. The peculiarity of BreadSlicer is that it is much wider than most others. This can come in handy when you want to cut baguettes diagonally. However, for a regular loaf this was a problem for me as the blade of my knife was so short that it flew out of the "wide" guide when I pulled it towards me. Luckily, there's an easy way to solve this problem: press the loaf against the "far" side of the mount. The loaf then acts as a guide and the blade springs right out of the loaf back into the "distant" slot.
