Review on CRAVE Lamb Adult Dry Dog Food - Grain Free & High in Protein by Dawn Atchison

I have decided to switch food due to several issues with another brand of food and my 11lb chihuahua such as , also there was an odor coming from for several days each month he was running out - and the only thing I could relate to that was that it happened every time I fed him from a freshly opened bag. He loved this food so I kept eating. and then he started being mean to him. This was my chance to trade it in so I decided to try the Crave as it comes highly recommended and is about the same price. Other than that, it's been less than a month since the replacement but the horrible smell hasn't returned. Its "deposits" were a steady light brown color. The only thing I found was that they were often very soft. But. One thing I wasn't aware of is that the calorie and protein content of Crave is much higher (eg: 35% vs. 28%) than it used to be. A little internet research showed me that this could mean I was overfeeding him. I halved his intake a few days ago and it's improved (and he has to walk less often). I hope he's still enjoying the food and that his system isn't rejecting it (we've tried six other brands, including several brands that cost over $30 a pack).
