A kid next door gave my daughter his old longboard because she showed interest. It hasn't been used for years. The old bearings are pretty cold. I'm 53 years old so my skating days are long gone. I started researching replacement bearings and discovered the idea of ceramic bearings. I paid a meager $13 for this set so I don't expect miracles but I know my daughter too. She will not be an experienced user of her board. It's rarely used and will likely be exposed to the elements if she forgets to bring it with her. She drove around the neighborhood and said the board rolls very well on these bearings. I decided to try it myself. I have nothing to compare them to, but it seemed like the board was sliding over them. If the ceramic bearings mean this board rolls better in the wet, then that's $13 well spent to me. I wish I was young again and my knees weren't trash. A long landing seems fun. Should these bearings fail in the future I will update my review.
