Of course this lens can't be 70-200 2.8 like the big boys, but don't let that fool you. Canon 5DMark II. I had an amazing Canon 70-200 F4L and then a Canon 70-200 F2.8L IS v1 and to be honest I don't see any difference in the images with the Fuji 55-200. You are no worse. Do I want a constant aperture? Of course I agree. Do I want it to be 2.8 fast? Yes. But I never wished for such things when I saw the results (paired with the X-T1). If you think about it, just pull the trigger. I don't see how you could be sorry. I'm also impressed with OIS. I can get sharp and clear images at 200mm and 1/40 focal length holding hands. This is madness! Of course, at such a slow speed there can still be some motion blur due to a moving subject, but the camera and lens combination delivers a steady image.
