You can't go wrong with Lube Lockers when you need them. If you don't need to change your differential oil regularly, you probably won't see the benefit. I bought them because I'm running two new axles and they need an oil change every 500 miles. Also, I'm an off-roader and any time you get into mud or water that's deeper than my axles, you run the risk of water getting into the differentials. In this case you need to change the oil. I don't want to mess around with RTV sealant any more than I have to, so they work great for me. If you don't change the fluids regularly I'd say don't worry about the extra cost.
