I have several spiral glass markers that hold a lot of ink but the two markers that come with this set barely hold any ink. I first tried a light blue pen with green ink and the ink just stuck to the tip. He didn't want to pee at all and dried up quickly as soon as I turned him on. I noticed that this pen has a narrower head so of course it will last less anyway, but I was expecting it to last longer. I tried a pen with a larger scroll head and it held more ink but ran out faster than I'm used to. I thought the ink might be too thin so I tried my glass marker from a different set. The paint worked well and lasted a long time. For some reason the two pens included in this set just don't hold much ink. The ink bottles contained different colors and had a rubber stopper to prevent leakage. The cork is fairly easy to remove, although somehow the design tends to get ink on your fingers. However, the ink washes off easily with soap and water. To clean glass handles, simply rinse with water and dry. Although I really like the ink in the set, I cannot recommend this set as I was disappointed in the pens. Just rinse them with water and dry them.
