This patch was used in the driver's seat in two cars about a month or two ago. At the moment I would give 5 stars but I doubt it because it's a short period of time and a high stress area. A few tips that might help as my son is good with cars. Clean the area you want to cover with the patch with alcohol and let it dry. Make sure you not only seal the tear, but also the area around it. Round corners. This patch is NOT forgiving or repositioning so be sure to smoothly place it exactly where you want it. Once placed and pressed, use a blow dryer and heat the area, especially the edges, to increase hold to ensure it is securely in place. Allow to cool and rest before settling or rubbing the repaired area. For many, these are basic ideas that they already know. But for people like me who don't know much about cars, this might help. I personally don't know if I tried to fix the driver's seat without my son. π¦
