I've only used mine a few times and when I tried to remove my iPhone the black plastic plate came off along with the phone. The only thing holding the plate is double sided tape. I ended up using super glue to reattach it so we'll see how it works, it should be stronger than duct tape. Update: They keep asking me to change my review and suggest a replacement because they said they fixed the issue, but after seeing more recent feedback people are still having the same issue.
