"Shoes" seems decent but the inserts are too short and flimsy. Normal stake height should be a minimum of 14 inches and a maximum of 15 inches above the playing surface. But the pegs are less than 20 inches long, so there is less than 6 inches of peg underground to (presumably) withstand when heavy pieces of metal are thrown at it. Also, they are only about 1/2 inch thick. Guaranteed they won't stand up to regular use, not that you'll want to use them that often because you have to stop a few times to hit the inserts again because they fell off. .I just have to wait and see if the shoes hold up with regular use. I have a matching set of 1" stakes for permanent installation and plan to use them regularly this summer. I gave 3 stars because the shoes seem good and I think the bets are good for travel/camping/etc. could work. Just don't plan on expecting too much from the bets.
