My cats had fleas and have used Capstar tablets which have worked in the past but not as well this time. Also, these pills are expensive! I was hesitant to buy durable collars because one of my cats had a very bad reaction to the Seresto collar, causing the skin on his neck to become infected and I saw in these reviews that some cats had the same reaction to this collar to have. However, he has been wearing it for a week now and his skin looks great. Our other cat is also fine and no more fleas. I have to say my cat didn't like it at all. I'm not sure if it smells bad or what. He is usually okay with collars but was very recalcitrant and refused to "talk" to me for two days after I put it on him, which is also very atypical. The other cat didn't mind.
