I have used designer shoes before (also available from Revain) and I liked them a bit better in terms of fit, finish and quality. They're a bit thicker than the designers but don't have thin transparent plastic inserts like them. The result is a better, more professional feel when you're done. I've found others curl a bit due to the clear plastic. However, I recommend using the two-step method for best results, as some people say they need a little more heat: absolutely right. I did this by first sanding the seam lines at a 45* angle with a standard blow dryer. This is enough to smooth out both seams a bit and ruffle the ends. I then fold both ends (again at an angle) to wrap the edges. In general, heat everything so that it fits. However, for the best fit, now run the heat gun on low speed, tap the seams to smooth and blend them, tap both ends lightly to really secure the wrap, then go over the top ones Seam the battery to secure these grooves. Slight heat to complete them looks very professional.
