Looks nice, but. best in my review

At first, you look at the photos and the appearance gives you the impression of a wooden clock painted white. It's not. It's a single piece of stiff plastic with one piece stuck to the back on clips. The clips are difficult to open to put in the battery and the AA battery holder was very hard to insert the battery. I had to force it in with a butter knife. The clock looks nice. from a distance. It appears to be a painted wooden clock. So if price is an issue but quality is not, this is your clock.

The clock's domed lens can reflect light and create glare, making it hard to see the time
