I chose this wrist guard after reading extensive reviews and am glad I did. I had terrible wrist pain after a car accident. After I got worse after physical therapy, my doctor diagnosed me with tendonitis and advised me to wear a wrist brace, especially at night. I chose a night bandage because I didn't want to draw too much attention to my injury at work, so I decided to start with that and add a day bandage if needed. There's a little padded support for your palm that gets in the way at work during the day, but I really like this brace at night. The material is soft and silky like Spandex/Lycra. I particularly like that it can be used for both left and right hands (although I hope I never need it for the other hand). It's comfortable to sleep in, and the three Velcro straps allow you to adjust it until you find the perfect fit so it's not too tight but still keeps you from moving your arm. The best part is that my wrist pain has decreased significantly in just a week of wearing it. I used to have an attack of pain when my baby accidentally bumped my wrist the wrong way or I lifted something, even very lightly. Currently. . . Nothing. That's great. I hope that everyone reading this will also find the same success.
