This thing is amazing, it gets so loud and the bass is incredibly tight and punchy and goes very, very low/low. This one replaces a Polk 15" subwoofer and blows it out of the water. I was very hesitant to purchase this product because of the price, but it's worth every penny. I really kick myself for not having done this sooner my wife loves the small incredibly small size it is really tiny. And sound! Such a tiny and supernatural sound. It gets very quiet, I think its kick is much lower than advertised, I had to turn it down in the receiver and recalibrated my surround system. I also had to move it around a bit to get the right bass "thickness" for my ear. Pros: Very tight and deep bass, thunderous sound, amazing bass quality, I already have mentioned how loud it can be?Cons: Price I guess but you really get what you pay for under the circumstances.no remote control for the volume
