The stretcher is great because it complies with cabin flight rules and the extension gives my cat plenty of room on those long international flights. BUT there are a few key issues that make me want a different carrier: 1) The bottom is flimsy and doesn't hold its shape over my carry-on, making it very uncomfortable for my cat. The bottom of the delta is much stronger and more powerful. 2) There is no carry-on strap through which you can attach your seat belt. The Delta bag has one that allows you to attach the carrier directly to your carry-on, making it super quick and easy to attack. This one I have to zip up to keep it in place and it makes it difficult and annoying to open when boarding a plane. When I drive the car for a long time, I need to tie it with straps to make it safer in the car. 3) The pillow is filled with cheap foam and I bought another bed to put it in for better insulation. and comfortable.
