I live in an area where it gets very hot during the summer. I've never attempted a summer grow because I cannot cool my tent enough.I bought this fixture because it was reported that it runs very cool & wanted to see how it works for a summer grow. I read through the reviews & questions and had a low expectation due to some of the comments.The fixture over-performed my expectations. Not only did it run cool enough, I managed to grow out 3 indicas that filled my 4x4 tent. The light's literature says it will flower a 4x3 area but it actually did better.The light is considerably weaker than any of my other fixtures but over-performed both of my 2nd generation fixtures. Now my tent doesn't have to sit empty during the hot summer months, which makes me very happy.I imagine it would be all you need in a 4x3 tent but you'll want to leave it at it's brightest setting throughout the grow. BTW, I did a 24hr Veg & 12/12hr flower & followed the manufacturers height recommendations. As I said. It over-performed all my expectations.
