Review on Ranger SRA-198 Noise Canceling Mic for CB Ham Radios - 4 Pin Wired by Aaron Ward

This is the heaviest and most durable microphone I have used for CB radio in 4 decades of CB and ham radio. It seems very well built. The extra spring where the cable enters the microphone is a nice feature. The microphone hook has a hole at the top for hanging the microphone with an elastic cord, or you can attach it to a regular bracket. It has a quality feel that matches the quality of my Galaxy transceivers. Made in Vietnam, not China. Plus IMO. I didn't have enough time to give this mic a negative review, so for now I'll give it 5 stars. I'm not sure how it will perform in the long run, but this is my favorite handheld mic at the moment. Very good noise canceling microphone.
