(END UPDATE) My dog is a 4 and 1/2 lb Chihuahua. I was concerned that this bed might be too small based on pictures and customer reviews. However, it has a lot of space. I actually wish the bed was smaller because I bought this dog bed to put on my bed. Also, she likes being swaddled a little. As long as I like it She went to bed as soon as I unrolled her. She sinks into her sides or tilts her head to one side. She seems to like it. The other "small" bed I had took up too much space. Update: 2 weeks old, she loves it and I love it. Sooo soft, so small, hair stays indoors rather than on my bed and seems well stretched. The photos I saw in the reviews look like a different bed. Another update 3 1/2 weeks old: She loves this bed so much. Seams in time. She hasn't chewed on her beds since she was 3 years old. I love him because he is so small; I bought it to sit on my bed. I don't have to worry about the hair on my bed. Love it! 2nd update: I still love it! She has never bitten or dug a hole in this bed. Now she is 4 years old; No problem.
