These blades will get the job done, but they're definitely a big step up over the OEM. I bought them for a specific project where several hundred boards were planed from 2x6 reclaimed cedar. I started a project with OEM blades that were almost worn out, then when I switched to them I immediately had feeding problems and poor cut quality with lots of tearing, nothing could be repaired with sandpaper but I was surprised that it was bad o 1/64 cut Release on a planer in finishing mode. At their original dimensions, these blades could not handle cuts deeper than 1/32nd, meaning all boards required an extra pass through the machine. Next time I will buy OEM blades to save a lot of time.
