I thought I wanted to trade my son for a towel somewhere. In fact, he's so determined to pee outside his diaper that we quickly make our way to the assigned changing area. Whatever trick we used, he always managed to piss on his changing pad - we could wipe the plastic cover off, but sometimes it took a while to dry and if I didn't feel like using soap every time I found it it nice. gross to put my son back on it. With the frequency with which he got wet, there was no point in putting on a full cover that had to be removed for washing. It's awesome because if he's successful with his water (or poop) efforts I can just pick everything up with one hand and throw it in our diaper bin (cloth diapers here - don't throw them in the bin). The lower part is waterproof so that no urine gets onto the changing pad.
