We ditched the extremely slow DSL we were limited to (2Mbps down/0.5Mbps up) in favor of an LTE hotspot router, through a company , which mainly serves people who spend a lot of time online. street or in a situation where normal high speed internet is not possible. Since fiber optic internet isn't available in our area yet, I'll use it until it's available. I just switched to these new Proxicast lobe antennas from a panoramic MiMo table antenna that I was using to try to increase signal strength to my local tower and my download speed doubled while my DL speed increased a little more than what I was already getting at peak speeds (I understand that most home internet plans have a 10Mbps download limit so this was a win for me as my business tends to make me download large files occasionally ). It's 5 dBi (Panorama is 4.5 dBi) and I have multiple 9 dBi antennas. I'm hoping they can get me to the 30Mbps mark because I really want to be able to stream 4K content that requires at least 25Mbps. If not, these will definitely fit. Still ten times better than what I got before the service change. The main thing with them is that you need to play with angle and placement to get optimal performance, but once you get that you should be very happy with the increased speeds.
