I love that Brio came up with this serious building set for preschoolers! I bought our set on the recommendation of an occupational therapist who uses it on his clients and he has seen my three youngest children (7, 5 and 2-2 years old who need help to do anything serious) play quite a bit . This set offers great fine motor skills training for kids! I wish you could screw or hammer parts into plastic platforms - that would give even more design options. As other reviewers have pointed out, this kit comes with no instructions - it's a free building kit that kids can use however they choose.
