Not happy with the yellow screen!

I saw that another customer had an issue with a yellow cast on one of the screens. I color calibrated both monitors with the Spyder 4 Pro. You can't solve a tonal problem with color profiles or fine tuning. This is due to the LEDs used. Low quality in my opinion as whiter LEDs are more expensive to manufacture. The good: - They're lightweight and have built-in USB hubs. - Have enough ports to connect all kinds of cables and cables for serial exchange. No HDMI cables. They are thin, crisp and clear. Virtually borderless edges for a near-seamless image side-by-side. The /control keys are hidden behind the screen selector (horrible design). If you need to adjust the screen when installed side by side as shown in my picture, it is not easy to access or switch. - Some vignetting at the edges. - Build quality feels cheap, with very thin bezels around the edges that appear to be glued on. Not very reliable. The USB hubs are on the bottom (my Asus ProArt 24 is on the side). More accessible, but won't work in a side-by-side configuration. Overall I don't think these are bad monitors for what they are and for the price, but the yellowish tint is pretty much a deal breaker for me. I actually ordered another set to compare. When I plugged them in, they had brighter (whiter) LEDs, but they were just as far apart. Data sheets showed factors that were not further apart. In fact, one of them had a dead pixel (it didn't help me). Also, with the serial number on the monitor and the boxes, there's no way to easily swap them out. You have to make a sentence. I just decided to keep them and deal with the yellowing no matter how much it hurts me. I use the whiter one for testing and try not to use the same color screen because I can safely say one of them is warmer.
