This surprised me when I received it because I thought it might be heavy when I ordered this safe. I can take him upstairs to my room with a little help. I have enough capacity. I am glad that now all my important documents can be protected well. This safe requires 4 AA batteries and has 2 emergency keys. So don't worry, I can still open it with the key when the power is off. Setting and resetting your own password is easy and very convenient for a small family like mine. My only complaint is that my safe is missing a set of screws (only received 3 sets) to mount it to the wall. All in all, this is a good safe.
