to fit snugly on crotch UPDATE. After posting my review, I received an email from the seller, they told me to try on a size up to see if I could get a better fit. They offered to send replacements for free. The size increase helped, the shorts fit perfectly now, nothing is too tight! I usually wear a medium size but ended up going for XL - I'm 5 by 7 and about 120 pounds.
