Although not visible in the photo, the power adapter is located approximately 15 inches from the 12V/24V power cord. The USB cable is longer, making it easier to install the device in a hidden location. The downside is that this is NOT compatible with Garmin traffic receiver models. It provides power, but the traffic receiver function will not work. Both versions of the Garmin traffic receiver models are marked LMT on the packaging. One version uses a separate traffic coverage cable, denoted by a twin cable. These models do not have a T suffix in the model ID on the back of the GPS device, e.g. B. nüvi 2555LM or nüvi 2595LM. Another version uses a Garmin internal receiver and single-round USB cable. These models are identified by the letter T in the model suffix on the back of the GPS unit, e.g. B. nuvi 2595LMT.
