Maybe if you have cat eyes, the lights would be as bright as shown in the pictures. For me, they barely lit up the area around them, just enough so that if you know the terrain, you could navigate, but forget about actually using the lights to see anything. Also, they did not last enough. If they didn't get blasted by full sunlight throughout the day, they would start dying off around 10PM-11PM, most didn't make it past 1AM. I switched to some solar lights with a 600 lumen high mode and 200 lumen low mode, and just used the low mode, and it was plenty bright, as well as lasting until morning.
