This item really works. It removes algae from the glass. it is also very well built in terms of design. Now for the bad. Razor blades are very thin. Blades of the type used in old razors I'm not sure where to find a replacement other than Amazon. I almost cut the pad of my finger installing the blade. The mounting screws were designed by an idiot in my opinion. They're both small and slick, making them extremely difficult to hold, causing the whole thing to slip off and almost cutting off my fingertip. I have some skin but I've retired in time. If it weren't for those stupid screws it would be a lot better.
