I have a 2006 Mercedes Benz S430. Bought this item to replace a leaking A-pillar. Bought a pair and changed them. The work was not as difficult as I expected. There are some good videos out there and be sure to check them out if you are new to changing racks. This is the first day and everything is looking good so far. Installation wasn't difficult, but I had a bit of trouble getting the posts out. I was able to use an elevator which made this job very easy. I expect these struts that I replaced will last a long time and work well on rough roads. I will update this later as time goes by.
