Kids love the telescope, it's easy to set up and use. My 9 year old son assembled it himself. The telescope comes with a carry-on bag and a tripod, which is convenient for traveling to a place where we can see a clear sky. We didn't connect our phone to take a picture but the kids are happy to show us the position of the planet. Will definitely take us on vacation to Utah. Moon craters are easily visible through a telescope.
