Very good quality, softer and thicker than the other two I got from another brand. But I bought them to match my Newton baby mattress. It's all about being breathable so I would have preferred it to be thinner. I will keep it anyway because of its quality and beautiful pattern. I save for the future, for example when the child turns 1 year old. Update: I don't think the whole idea of using single layer muslin for a mattress pad is doable. It absorbs regurgitation but cannot hold that fluid. This gets the mattress wet and I have to wash the mattress cover every few days. Then why do I need a sheet? when I wash the mattress so often.
