I bought the 'tall' version and am very happy with it. I needed a flexible gooseneck to keep the phone out of the way of the six-speed manual switch. It's absolutely perfect. I also have an iPhone 8 Plus and it has enough space if I ever need it. A simple push of a button on the top back of the mount releases the phone, which is held very firmly in the adjustable arms. You can adjust the bumpers on the outside after inserting it into the cup holder to make it even more secure. Fantastic purchase.
