Review on 🦷 Adjustable Pocket Flosser with Reusable Tension by Jeremy Nunez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Mixed feelings but the best thread I've tried since replacing the thread.

. This is easily the best thread I've used, with some major caveats. TLDR: Pros: Holds the thread tightly, doesn't bend under tension. Cons: Pre-installed useless thread, difficult to replace. pulled the thread out, pulled it over the teeth and wrapped it around both holders, then rewound the spool to get tension. I'm not sure if the bad reviews about the tension are because they didn't understand it (the instructions are pretty sparse) or if they had faulty ratcheting mechanisms. For me it only came loose if I didn't wrap the racks often enough. So to important warnings. The thread is clean and full of junk. I could NOT get it between my teeth. I felt like I was about to break my teeth trying to stuff it between them. I pulled out all the thread and replaced it with another thread we already had on hand. And here comes the second caveat: getting the spool to reload is easy enough, but there's nothing to help you wind new line onto the spool. This is a tiny coil and will take a long time to hand wind. I cut off a takeaway chopstick and stuck it in the middle of the coil and stuck the other end into the drill bit and the coil reloaded in seconds. However, expecting customers to improvise tools to use the product is quite unreasonable. So it could have been 5 stars if the included filament was good OR it was easy to reload. Whatever the case, I'd still rate it 5 stars for myself because it works so well after a reboot and it was easy enough to improvise a reboot, but I'm deducting a star because it's an undue downside from dental floss.

Pros
  • . Heavy duty construction.
Cons
  • . No automatic.
