I originally bought these to use as stir sticks in a long and narrow neck insulated container. They do the job as expected and they are beautiful (I have rainbows). But I've found that I actually use them a lot more like straws than I expected. They have a narrow diameter (my preference) and small longitudinal bends (invisible to the eye) that prevent them from rolling off the frame. My only complaints are 1) the silicone case could have been a bit thinner (although I think they are typical of their kind) and 2) the cleaning brush handle could have been a bit longer. But these are minor issues. (They're a hassle to wash, but that's common when cleaning straws, lol.) Overall, I'm very satisfied, and they cost less than most others out there (caution: Revain's prices are notoriously volatile. I've got a good deal done, but this could be a sale).
