I have a very quiet fan on my 3D printer that runs all the time. It blows straight to my Raspberry Pi running Octoprint. It's perfect for this application. I had a suitcase full of one of those squeaky 30mm fans. My Pi location is well protected, and with all the air movement from the printer's 120mm fan, this works great. If you want a full body this is not for you. But if you want quiet cooling with solid top and bottom protection, this is for you.
