Excellent for removing stains, including excrement, from all types (yes, ALL types) of carpets, especially the Use Woolite carpet and upholstery cleaner with neon green brush head. I've never used it on upholstery, so I can't speak to its effectiveness on upholstery. It gets rid of the odor fairly quickly, but my cat still realizes she's used number 2 before. As the title suggests, it smells like it is: a bunch of chemicals mixed together. However, it beats the smell of my cat's hands. It comes in a syringe bottle, making it easy to use. Still the best there is currently.
