Review on Jabra Evolve2 Wired Headphones Stereo by Kevin Young

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Poor reliability for the price

The good first: Microphone quality and background noise isolation are excellent! This is the reason why I bought this product. The headset is modern and stylish. The indicator lights are nice and the UC buttons are a handy feature that I've found works best with Zoom. I had less success with GoTo and Teams. My biggest problem is when using the Evolve2 40 with Windows and UC software codecs, the audio doesn't stay reliable throughout the day. When switching between multiple conferencing platforms and local computer audio (music and computer notifications), the audio becomes modulated and distorted, requiring you to disconnect and reconnect your headset several times a day, even during a conference. The UC buttons also stop working after a while, especially when switching between conference platforms. In addition, there appears to be interference with cellular devices, suggesting that shielding is inadequate as static and audio artifacts are introduced into the audio signal. ears without letting in room noise. Over time it becomes uncomfortable. If you need proper isolation, use in-ear or over-ear headphones. All in all, when they work, they work beautifully and sound great, but I'm unsatisfied with the quality and reliability for the price.
