A must for distance learning or working from home

I bought two of these items for my boys who, like many families, study from home. One thing I noticed was that they would yell into their laptops in class and distract each other when they were at separate desks. The earbuds block most sounds and allow you to hear them clearly while exercising.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Weight

I've been using them for a few weeks now when I'm back in the office and it's a worthwhile investment. They can be a little uncomfortable for hours of listening to music as they sit on top of the ear instead of over it (press on the ear to stay in place), but it's a good compromise for size. The audio quality for the mic seems perfect for general video and voice calling via Zoom, Slack etc and it worked right out of the box once plugged in without the need for any additional software to be…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor issues

Good sound. Functions are not compatible.

They sound good, no one complains about background noise anymore. The properties are somewhat contradictory. Sometimes the microphone backlight works. Sometimes not. Sometimes the software syncs with the microphone mute function (microphone on). Sometimes not. I have the biggest inconsistency with Webex and the best results with Teams, which is weird because I bought the UC model thinking it would work better with Webex. The good outweighs the bad, so I keep them to myself.

Excellent build quality and sound - very uncomfortable

I've had my current Jabra for a little over nine years and it's literally falling apart. Wanted to buy another Jabra as I was impressed with the overall quality. This headset has great features, build quality and amazing sound. The fatal downside for me is how uncomfortable it is (as others have pointed out). The clamping pressure is extremely high, making it unbearable for 20 minutes. I wanted to love her, but after 20 hours of meetings, it becomes clear that this will not work for me.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

Poor reliability for the price

The good first: Microphone quality and background noise isolation are excellent! This is the reason why I bought this product. The headset is modern and stylish. The indicator lights are nice and the UC buttons are a handy feature that I've found works best with Zoom. I had less success with GoTo and Teams. My biggest problem is when using the Evolve2 40 with Windows and UC software codecs, the audio doesn't stay reliable throughout the day. When switching between multiple conferencing…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New Competitors

Choose another one if you want to use it for video conferencing

If you need to spend long hours in Zoom/Webex/Teams or any other video conferencing, this is NOT for you. I've been working remotely for over 10 years so video conferencing is like my morning coffee which means a must. I recently bought this headset and unfortunately after a few hours of use I felt a pain in my ears. Big. I checked and they worked fine, long hours, no pain. Then I decided to go back to Evolution2 40. I tested for a day - and that was enough to make me decide to return it. So…

Good Generally good for computer accessories and peripherals

I use them for work, 8 hours a day in a call center that works from home. I have a big head and I'm a big guy. The sound is fantastic for voice communication, I would never use it for gaming, music or multimedia. The audio section isn't good enough for these applications, it's great for speech. The microphone works great and people around me can hear me clearly. To say that this is "passive" noise cancellation is just ridiculous. There's really no passive noise cancellation, it's just noise…
