Review on Jabra Evolve2 Wired Headphones Stereo by Dink Rivas

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good Generally good for computer accessories and peripherals

I use them for work, 8 hours a day in a call center that works from home. I have a big head and I'm a big guy. The sound is fantastic for voice communication, I would never use it for gaming, music or multimedia. The audio section isn't good enough for these applications, it's great for speech. The microphone works great and people around me can hear me clearly. To say that this is "passive" noise cancellation is just ridiculous. There's really no passive noise cancellation, it's just noise cancellation when wearing headphones. Don't take this into account when buying headphones unless they completely cover the ear. You can hear everything that is happening around you. The ear pads are quite comfortable, much larger than the foam ear pads found on standard headphones. I have to take them out of my ears from time to time to restore circulation and relieve pain. The durability of the pad itself is questionable, but I haven't had it long enough to find out. First impressions are that pads can last 6-12 months if used 5 days a week. The ear cushions strike me as the weak point of the durability conversation. All in all a great headphone for work. If they had active noise cancellation and a more comfortable/sturdy ear pad, they would be perfect. I have no experience with microphone filters.
