This is a very nice hammer. I love the red on the handle. There was a weird cut on one of the prongs (see picture) but it does not effect the function of the hammer. The other side of the hammer did not have that issue. I don't know if this is something that is a fluke with the one I received or if this is a flaw that occurs on every hammer. Overall, the hammer works as a hammer should. I did receive this item at no cost in exchange for my unbiased review.

This isn't the large sized hammer that many people are used to. It weighs half a pound according to the description which isn't too bad. Still can do everything a bigger/heavier one can. Nail things in, pound stuff together, and pull nails out. Great for people needing tools but have limited space, already own one and would like a back up, maybe good for kids that you supervise on their projects. This is a typical claw hammer such as found at discount box stores so I'm confused why the price is nearly double what I'd expect to pay. For a few dollars more I can order a high end hammer that will last a few generations. As for functionality, the hammer is fine. I'm no judge of balance of the tool but it works well for me. I've waited a few months to share this review to see if anything changed or if I could determine a reason to justify the higher cost - neither has occurred.

This is a very good version of a traditional claw hammer. The head shape, weight and sizing are all exactly as I expected. The handle is made of good fiberglass with a nice rubber grip. Fit and finish her much better than I expected for a brand I had never heard of before. All in all a very good alternative to some of the better down names out there.

Other reviews have said this hammer is unbalanced making them choke up on the handle. I found it to be just the opposite. Compared to my framing hammer, it feels just about the same. Of course, this is not a framing hammer and it isn't intended for the same jobs. But it is a nicely capable tool for general nailing. Well machined head and a comfortable grip. Good price.

Cheapest hammers ever, lightweight yes but other than that they are not for construction, they are made for the crappy tool boxes they sell at target for little household jobs.

At first I was a little worried it wouldn't be a good hammer, but I've put it thru some rough times and it never fails, really sturdy and would definitely recommend for any one who needs a good affordable hammer.

Every man needs a good quality hammer in his tool chest and this one does the trick. It has a nice handle and seems to be made from a good quality metal. The weight feels right and I like the rubber handle. I would like to see a waffle patter on the head but overall a very good well balanced hammer.
