Bags do not close fully

The bag fits in our kitchen waste bin and works fine in most cases. The bad thing is that you can't completely close the bag. There are two handles that you can tighten and then tie together. The problem is that there are gaps in the bag that are left open as the plastic straps are oddly made. We have to throw our rubbish in a bin in our garage, which is emptied once a week. A huge gap in the bag (no matter how full or empty) results in a nasty smell that we don't like. My Glad bags have never done this and we will not be buying this brand again. I will say it did the job pretty well without leaking or tearing.

Pros
  • Waste bag
Cons
  • Requires a power outlet
